We are created for relationships

One would think that today's excessive social media platforms would enable people to live more connected lives. It does not. Never in history have people known so much about what others are doing, yet been so isolated and alone. God did not create us to live life in isolation, but to live life together. To help facilitate this, Mt Carmel places a high value on connecting people through Life Groups. We have any number of different formats available. Some Life Groups meet weekly, some on the Church Campus, some in homes, some on Sundays, some at different times throughout the week. Commonalities of some of our Life Groups are age, stage of life, interests  - you name it, we probably have it.

Book of Mark

Discipleship is a journey of following Jesus and intentionally using our influence to help others walk alongside us. Each week, we gather in God’s Word to grow together through practical, real-life application. Our group is dynamic, interactive, and centered on learning how to live out our faith together.

This group meets each Sunday morning at 9:30 in room #4 on the upper level.

Context of the Bible

If you’ve ever struggled to understand the words of the Bible or the teachings of Jesus, we invite you to join us. We will meet each Sunday morning at 9:30 in the cafeteria. Together, we’ll explore the cultural context of the Bible to better understand its meaning. This study will help you see God’s Word with fresh perspective and deeper insight.

Why Work Matters

About a third of our lives is spent working, making our approach to work deeply important. Rather than seeing work as only a way to pay bills or plan for the future, we are called to see it as something more meaningful. Work is a gift from God and an opportunity to honor Him. Through our work, we can also love and serve our neighbors in intentional ways.

Sermon Review & Application

This is a Life Group of believers with a passion for growing together in Christ through sharing insights in the Word, great fellowship, good food, and prayer. Meetings are low-key, highly interactive, loads of fun and personally uplifting. Our goal is to love one another as Christ loves us. This life group meets the second Sunday of each month at 6:00 pm.
