Dear friends,

We wanted to share a quick update as we officially find our footing back in Poland. After months in the U.S., we packed up our lives once again, said many meaningful goodbyes, and boarded a plane that marked the end of a significant “season of firsts” for our family. This was our first time returning to our mission field after an extended stay back home—and it has been both overwhelming and deeply encouraging.

Our journey back was long but smooth. On Wednesday, January 7th, we departed from Virginia, traveling from Roanoke to Atlanta, then on to Amsterdam, and finally back to Gdańsk. Despite winter weather across much of Europe, the Lord graciously allowed our travel to go well. When we landed, we were greeted by snow on the ground—and it hasn’t stopped since! Locals have told us this is the most snow they’ve seen in nearly a decade.

One of the sweetest moments was being welcomed at the airport by our teammates and close friends. They surprised us with decorations in our apartment, stocked our refrigerator with food, and helped us settle back in during these first few exhausting days. Their kindness was a tangible reminder that God has placed us exactly where we are meant to be.

The first few days back have been quiet but full. We’ve been battling jet lag, snowed in at home, and unable to attend church in person—but we were still able to gather as a family and worship together. The kids have been building forts, adjusting (with varying levels of enthusiasm), and learning once again what life looks like here. Even Prudie (our dog) made it safely back and is happily settled with us on the field.

As we reconnect with people, send messages, and slowly step back into the rhythm of ministry, we are incredibly thankful for each of you who have prayed, encouraged, and supported us through this transition. We truly could not do this without you.

Thank you for walking with us into this new year and this next chapter of ministry. We look forward to reconnecting with many of you soon.

Serving our amazing Jesus together,

Micah, Emily, Silas, Eden, Olive, & Amos
