Good Morning, Mt. Carmel family!
RECAP: What a blessed gathering we enjoyed yesterday! There was a precious spirit of worship present as we sang the glories of our King to our King! Hearts excitedly rejoiced in the ways that God continues to move in our midst as Robbie Owens shared God’s calling on his life! And through his mix of humor, humility, and love for God, Tim Lovelace led us to hold tightly to the truths of God’s goodness even in the midst of difficult days—of which we all have experienced these past few years. What a joyful assembly the Body of Christ experienced together!
RESOURCE: One of the best resources available today to those who are wanting to broaden or deepen their knowledge of God’s Word is The Bible Project. Through animated lessons, serious Bible scholars package incredible truths for the growing Christian. If you’re interested, click here. (There is also a daily reading plan on the YouVersion Bible app.)
LIFE GROUPS: As Pastor Mike mentioned yesterday, we are all in need of the community and care that a family offers—and a family is what we believers can experience in one another because of Jesus! And one way to help deepen relationships centered around the Person of Jesus Christ is through our Life Groups. And four new groups are starting up this week!

PRAYER: Please pray for Randall, Carla, and Sam Seekford. Randall’s mother went to Heaven yesterday afternoon. We rejoice that his mother was a strong believer in Jesus, so she is experiencing the ultimate joy that is only found in the presence of Jesus! Also, please pray for the family of Faye Nichols who went to Heaven in December. There will be a memorial service on Saturday morning here at Mt. Carmel. Afterwards, the family will gather for a meal after the service. Would you please consider dropping off a side or dessert for this meal as a way of expressing our church family’s love and support to the family during this time? It would be a very special blessing! Thank you!
