Over the past years, Mt. Carmel has developed a blessed relationship with Encounter Revival Ministries in Zambia. Pastor Leonard visited with us in 2018, and ten members from our church had raised over $25,000 to go to Zambia this past March. Because of COVID, they were forced to postpone their trip.
Following Jim Grandstaff and Pastor Mike's visit in 2019, Mt. Carmel voted to send $10,000 to be used to help the Encounter Zambia obtain electricity at the camp where much ministry work is done. Encounter Zambia was responsible for all the work and materials necessary to bring electricity there. And we received pictures today of lights on at the camp! Praise the Lord! Now Gospel ministry can continue into the late hours!
As John 1:5 says, "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." The Gospel light is now brightly shining in the darkness!
Thank you for your regular contribution to world missions! Without your help, we would not be able to celebrate such wonderful news! May God continue to move our hearts to become a greater disciple-making community for His glory!
