Dear Mt. Carmel,
Thank you for praying for, caring for, rejoicing with, and weeping with those in our church family who need their Christian community at this time. We have been made aware of many needs recently, so I wanted to keep you updated.
Please pray for the family and loved ones of Betty Stricker who went to Heaven this morning. As we learn details for her service, we will pass this information along.
Please pray for Betty Seal in the loss of her sister this past week. Betty's brother-in-law is also very ill in the hospital.
Please pray for Barbara Risley, a new attender, who is in the hosptial with pnuemonia.
Please pray for Charlotte Smeltzer who is with her mom in Arizona for what appears to be the final stage of her life.
Please pray for David & Christa Dorrough who are very ill at home.
Please pray for Larry Weakley who had gallbladder surgery yesterday.
Please pray for Corey and Shianna Seal who are very ill at home.
Please pray for Larry Wood, cousin to Ron Keyser, who has been missing since December 28th and has not yet been found. Larry was born and raised in Rileyville, suffers from dementia, left without wallet or prescriptions and was not dressed for winter weather. Please pray he is found.
Please pray for some dear friends of Ron Keyser who live in Miami, Florida. Yulian Ines and his wife, Jessy, miscarried yesterday at 10 weeks. In addition to the physical healing that is needed, Yulian & Jessy and the entire family are in need of prayers for emotional healing as well. This is the second miscarriage that has occurred in the last two years.
Please continue to pray for the family of Faye Nichols who went to Heaven last week.
Please continue to pray for Sunset Drive Baptist Church as their pastor, Harold Spencer, went to Heaven last week.
Please continue to pray for Kenny Ramey as he recovers at home from pneumonia.
Please pray with confidence that Jesus hears your prayers—but also with joy that Jesus is working all things together for the good of those who love God and for the glory of God. As Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, "Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
