Special Requests
Nikki Huff and family: Nikki’s father, Wayne Hensley, went to Heaven on Monday morning. Please pray for the family as they grieve
Hurricane Victims: Prayers for all those who have suffered catastrophic conditions and great loss. Pray that the people affected would look to God in their desperation and those unaffected will respond with the love of Jesus.
All first responders who are working tirelessly to rescue, repair, restore power, and provide needs for those affected by the recent hurricane.
Carla Plaster and family are in need of a place to live.
Cassie Wilkens and daughter are in need of a place to live near skyview nursing home where Cassie works.
Sue Sours: has been rushed to the UVA ER for some very concerning, ongoing, symptoms.
Kim Pence and family as they grieve the loss of Kim's Aunt.
Physical Needs of Church Family:
Matthew Owens: having some health issues and complications from lymes disease, upcoming tests
Savannah Owens: heart issue, pray that she would outgrow this; continues to be monitored by the doctor
Becky Thomas: experiencing pain in her hip, leg and lower back
Tom League: undergoing weekly treatments for cancer
John Risley: health needs and upcoming CT scan. Several appointments are coming up in August and September to help determine a plan of action for his health needs.
Sherri Heiston: will be undergoing a hip replacement
Carl Turner: suffered a stroke and is home recovering, upcoming doctor appointments
Physical Needs for Family and Friends
Earnestine Steward: (Family of Linda and Gordon DeMeritt) had a bad fall and suffered several broken bones, She will need surgery
Lorrie Murphy: (friend of Louise Buzzcana) has a kidney mass and in process of finding out what it is
Brittany Vaughn {wife of Jordan Vaughn ( son of Dan Vaughn)} Brittany has stage 4 lymphoma.
Rick Gilenwater: ( Bryanna’s father in law ) undergoing chemo treatments
Patrick Mueller: (Edith Ramey's Nephew) hip replacement
Don Dean: (friend of Ron Keysers) has kidney failure
Kim Foltz: (friend and neighbor of Yvonne) has a very aggressive cancer
Tammy Driver: ( friend of Ron Keysers ) struggling with cancer and her husband is on disability
Paul DeMeritt: (brother of Gordon DeMeritt) recently diagnosed with lymphocytic lymphoma
Andy Klein: cancer; continued prayers for healing and strength
Ward DeMeritt: ( son of Linda and Gordon DeMeritt) Cancer; continued prayers for healing and strength
Diana Fairbanks: (daughter of Faye Cave) heart issues and possible transplant needed
Sherri Needle: (Ann Vaughn’s cousin) cancer has returned
Timothy Knott: (Brother of Rebecca Blanchette) having kidney issues
Ruth (Sharon Tucker’s aunt) – battling cancer, pray for Salvation
Paula Pierce ( sister of Frank Pierce) : She is going blind and also has lung cancer. Paula is also undergoing radiation and chemotherapy.
Catherine Mishler: ( Britiney Fitzwater's mother) has been moved to Hidden Springs Skill Care Unit.
Mozell Turner: (Jerry Turner’s mom) health needs
Cheryl Campbell: (friend of Janet Turner) health
Irene Bradley: ( Renee Grandstaffs Aunt ) continued prayers for her muscle disease to improve and her cancer to remain in remission.
David Thomas: (brother of John Thomas) undergoing serious health issues
Bonnie Bradley: (friend of Betty Seal) health, spiritual needs
Tiffany Ducker: going through cancer treatments; She is neighbor to Charlotte Gochenour and friend of Ron Keyser
Penny McCoy: ( friend of Rebecca Blanchett ) Will be having surgery on July 23 and will then begin radiation .
