RECAP:
With the quick snow we experienced this weekend, Psalm 147:16-18 is so fitting. The psalmist speaks of the Lord giving snow like wool, scattering frost like ashes, and hurling down the crystals of ice (16-17)—and then asks, “who can stand before His cold?” But then we read how God sends out His word and melts them—the wind blows and the water flows. What a beautiful picture of God’s power and His grace!
MEMBERS' MEETING: We held a members’ meeting yesterday morning at 9:30 filled with updates of the church ministries—everything from youth, missions, kids, and leadership. The three items listed below will be up for vote on Sunday, March 27, after the morning service. Please reach out to a deacon or pastor if you have any questions.
DEACON ORDINATION: A time of ordination and commissioning with our deacons took place yesterday morning as well. It is such a blessing to partner with such humble servants to God. Our deacons this year are Trent & Nicky Clark, Bill & Maria Copeland, Jim & Renee Grandstaff, Dave & Judy Guzy, Tommy & Erica Lucas, and Caleb & Alexander Routhier.
THE DANCE OF THE TRINITY: Yesterday’s message in Philippians 2 was centered on “the dance of the Trinity”—a phrase used by Tim Keller and C. S. Lewis to describe the perfect love of the Godhead. The submissive and exalting love expressed by the three natures of God is to be our pattern in marriage and relationships. We closed the service by taking the Lord's Supper together. The message can be found on our website, YouTube channel, Spotify podcast, or iTunes podcast.
For all the latest information, opportunities, and announcements, yesterday’s bulletin can be found here.
REMIND:
LADIES’ BIBLE STUDY: On Tuesday mornings at 10:30, the ladies of the church meet in the Grove House for a time of fellowship and study. If you are interested, all you need to do is show up with a Bible and a smile.

Starting at 7 p.m., Frank Good leads a study through the Gospel of Luke, Carolyn Palmer and Jamie Hasse lead a study through Hebrews, Robbie Owens and the Youth Team host our middle school youth, and Chris Hopkins and the Kids’ Team host children K-5th grade.
RESOURCE:
KINGDOM RACE THEOLOGY: Dr. Tony Evans offers a three-part video teaching on racism and racial tension to confront the errors of Critical Race Theory. He will share how the solutions to the issues we face today can be found by applying a biblical standard to the questions before us. The link can be found here.
All of these lessons are available for free as a part of the 20,000 resources of Rightnow Media—which our church leadership has made available at no cost to you. If you have not yet signed up for your free account, just send an e-mail to pastor@mcrbc.org to receive your invitation.
Have a blessed week, Mt. Carmel family! I love you and love serving you!
